Description of Atlantis World

Thanks to Joel who managed to install and run the game, some informations on Atlantis World:

Translating the help/manual files from German the app described itself like this: "Atlantis World is the implementation of the famous and popular BTX Dialog Systems Atlantis."

It's apparently a graphical front end for a community or game using the German BTX (Bildschirmtext) connectivity devices/software? I can't tell if the Atlantis BTX system is a specific game server or just an email / message boards / chat / etc. German early BBS type system. Given the graphics I see, I think it's the latter.

So basically you have to install this game manually like you would any other game where you have to unpack files them with the files provided with the archive. I don't have the time or desire to do that at this time but if anybody has the time or inclination to install it on their system let me know how it went.

This Atlantis was a pure online chat system in BTX times, in German.
You could register a username and then join the chat. There were various public and private chat rooms. It was also possible to send private messages to a user. If I remember correctly, there were also features that were available for a fee. These costs were then paid with the telephone bill.
The images shown were background images for the chat system.

Boxer states the download contains no DOS files. I can not make the game work using Boxer, any hints out there? It looks like a good game, but I have to give it a one star because it does not work. It states above: "Thanks to Joel who managed to install and run the game?" It would be nice if he included how he got it to run.
