Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco GP II (aka アイルトン・セナ スーパーモナコGP II) is a video game published in 1992 on Genesis by SEGA Enterprises Ltd., SEGA of America, Inc., Tec Toy Indústria de Brinquedos S.A.. It's an action and racing / driving game, set in an arcade, licensed title, automobile, track racing and formula 1 themes, and was also released on Game Gear and SEGA Master System.

Fantastic at the time, one of the best 16bit racers.
The racing was fairly frantic and rewarding, it had the sense of speed and the digital input of the pad suited the cornering. It was a joy to play.
The games greatest strength was in it's structure with the teams. You'd start at the bottom of the ladder and gradually work your way up to the fast team's.
You could manipulate the system, while challenging yourself to win races and indeed the championship with the lower teams. The fun came about in getting the late great Ayrton relegated to the bottom team.
The game is well presented with some nice genesis music rounding it off.
