Battlezone - Play Online
DOS - 1983
For small DOS games like Battlezone, you can play online immediately with your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer...). This feature is still experimental, the game may not work properly. Warning: game save should work, but you should try it early! Also, be careful to select the right game executable in the list below.
Emulator configuration
You have to choose the right game executable, then press PLAY.
To exit fullscreen mode, press escape. Playing experience can be poor due to your browser or your computer. Download Battlezone and launch it with DOSBox to have the best playing experience!
If the game is too fast or too slow, try hitting CTRL-F11 (slower) and CTRL-F12 (faster).

As Chromy points out In his comment, this version does run too fast. That said, we gamers can catch-up with plenty of practice! I remember playing this game In the Arcades during the early/mid 1980's. There were two versions - one had the screen at waist or chest level (depending on your age and height!) whilst the other had an eye-level view with a "submarine periscope" viewer. Both had green-on-black screens and were based on vector graphics with lots of squares, rectangles, pyramids and other polygons. I'd love to have the periscope-type at home right now! Bear In mind that the Arcade versions are far superior to any others. Don't be put off by these poor home micro & other early game console versions - this Is a really good game. Suggestion - learn on this and then go and destroy the arcade version!

super cool but way way way too fast! ctrl-f11 not response on chromebook, oh well
