Farmer: At first I found the same as you, then suddenly some keys started working: QA for up/down, OP for left/right, and Space. I'm not sure what I did to make them work (this was in DOSbox), but I know I'd just tried pushing Shift and some keys, then ran my finger along the rows of keys and noticed the player character face the other way. When I exited (the game and DOSbox) and tried playing again, the keys worked first time.

Of course, in DOSbox the keys can be remapped.

How do you move the player character in this game? If you hit j on the starting screen, you can calibrate your joystick, but if you hit k for keyboard the screen just flashes and nothing happens. I can't define my keys and no button on my keyboard seems to move the character. Space lets him jump, but that doesn't get you far, when you can't move to the left or right.

Why no ZX Spectrum version on this site? Also, no Spectrum games starting with the letters A-E.
