Description of the Game
In 1992, Core Design, Ltd. publishes Curse of Enchantia, a medieval / fantasy, puzzle-solving game for the DOS system. Offering adventure genre, it is now an abandonware.
In Curse of Enchantia, you will help Brad, a young earth boy summoned in the dangerous land of Zeloria, to come back to his home. Zeloria is ruled by the "most depraved witch in the universe", who captured Brad as a core ingredient of a eternal youth spell. The player will have to resolve many enigms to free the land as well as himself. The story refers more or less to The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe, part of the Narnya trilogy.
Curse of Enchantia was one the first DOS game released on a CD-ROM and was bundled with a lot of PC later on. The game was appreciated for the great graphics but suffers of the lack of text, a mediocre interface and illogical puzzles. It's sequel was never produced.
