Description of Dark Side
Developed by Major Developments and published by Incentive Software Ltd., Dark Side is a action game revolving around puzzle-solving, sci-fi / futuristic, shooter. It was published in 1988, feel free to download and play it now!
After the success with Driller, Incentive continued to improve its 3D Freescape engine with this fun sci-fi action/adventure set on planet Tricuspid. To prevent the destruction of your world Evath, you must cripple a huge laser device by destroying all its Energy Collection Devices (ECD). Gameplay is a blend of action and puzzle-solving, as you must figure out which ECD to destroy, in what sequence, and within a time limit. The puzzles are better than Incentive's previous games as they are physical puzzles integrated into the 3D gameworld, and the landscape is much more diverse and hides many secrets. Highly recommended to all action buffs.

also as aka driller aka oblivion love the sound track ! on the commodore 64 ! amazing ! work from the sid chip of the c64!
try the retro remake called driller or get winvice (c64 emulater and get this in either of the 3 names ! in d64 format ) it will blow your mind ! seeing 1988 only 3 voices against ibm compatibles were nothing but bleeps ! until later the sound blaster came about the commodore loosing the battle beacuse ! it had no expansion slots except just one for cartridges that was put to use by games or epyx fast loader or mach 5 it did have 512k expansion memory
but the makers of that cartridge were greedy and did not put a double end to continue C64]==== ==== to put other cartridges one like the texas instrument ti99/4a computer did and commodore faulter in 1992 Commodore Amiga had the same problem with expansion slots ! but Amiga was way ahead of its time ! the only computer that could compete with the amiga was the NEXT Computer! StevesJobs 10,000 dollor computer !
