They could've atleast created new textures for the HUD. this is lazy for a "commercial mod". not that things are any better by today's standards

For people wondering why this doom mod and also perdition's gate is on the site. The company that published it WizardWorks closed down in 2004. These doom addons are unofficial commercial add-ons which were paid for until the company closed down which doesn't exist no longer. So these games can definitely be downloaded for free since that's the only way to get them.
