Description of Metal & Lace: The Battle of the Robo Babes
Metal & Lace: The Battle of the Robo Babes is basically a poorly done hentai fighting game.
You purchase a battle mech suit, equip it with special items, and fight women. After beating a woman's mech suit to pulp, she removes some of her clothing for you. After you have beaten your opponents enough times, they 'bare all'.
I was very disappointed with this game. For one thing, the control is terrible. The characters have blocky movement and cheap special attacks. The sound effects are limited to cheap clicks and clangs, but I did enjoy the music.
In-between fights, you can converse with the patrons of a local bar and/or shop for parts. The characters in the bar and the parts stores are very animated and some are quite funny. The in-between part of the game is about the only part I liked, to tell you the truth. Maybe MegaTech should've just made this game an RPG.

@BUNGUS I was stumped by the same thing for a while, but it turns out it's a floppy disk image. I'm sure there are other programs to open it, but if you are running the game in DOSBox, you can use this command to open the image as A:\
imgmount a [download folder]\Metal-~1.ima -t floppy
Where [download folder] is C:\Users\bungus\Downloads or wherever the file is on the host computer.

Quick guide:
1. when the Dos box starts type "ML" to start the game
2. once you are in the bar click the 69 with an arrow above it in the bottom left corner of the screen then when the game asks for a number bar just press enter and it will go through
3. if you click the floor/ashtray/radio/bar tender/ thug in the back enough times you will get money and items, including a free suit of armor on the floor you can use or sell to the guy up the staircase who sells armor
4. if you save and reload you can get the money from them again
5. you can click the keg next to the poll but it can make you lose 1k money randomly, the mirror will let you join the fights without having to pay the entry fee if you click it enough, the beer can the woman is holding will give you money if you click it while the woman is drinking it, if you click it while she isn't drinking it, it will randomly either fill your health full or take half your health, if the bartender asks you if you want to buy something ask if its stolen so you wont have to buy anything he over charges you for what he gives you
6. the poll in the back right next to the beefy guy will give you money one time only if you click it enough, the OT on the side of the bar on the left will give you a bit of credits each time you click it after going through all the credits you will get 1k money
7.if you hold shift+F11+F12 your health will constantly refill while you are holding it and you will never die
8. you have to beat every girl twice for each round and then you fight a boss 3 times to go to the next round there are 5 rounds and after each round you can see more and more of the girl until they are fully naked
9. to see the girls you click the colored poster of a woman on the bottom of the poll, you cannot enter the girl screen until you have beaten at least 2 girls twice for that round
10. the online "cheats" that say a certain order to press the posters to become invincible and to press the "C" on the word Lucky on the girls viewing screen to instantly see girls fully naked are both lies and do not work
11. you can press the various buttons on the bottom left on the bar to access various menu's one for saving and loading your game, one for options including button mapping, and one for upgrading your armor but this is the same screen you get before fights so its not super necessary
12. if you pay 100 money to the chibi robo before a fight it will tell you the stats and armor of the girl your fighting but this is honestly a waste of money since it doesn't change anything in the fight

When looking this game up in this site's search bar, it doesn't show up. Tried "Metal & Lace", "Metal", and "Lace" and it never showed up. Google did showed it.

Okay I'm dumb.
Apparently the sound is just OFF by DEFAULT and that most of the sound Driver options work. Just go to the settings (on the bottom left of the bar), select either background music or sound effects and set them ON.
Took me 9 months to figure that out. I feel like an ass.

Anyhow, I've tried messing around with the game by downloading it and loading it into a DOSBox. It works perfectly.
However, still no dice at the audio. I managed to get only some sound effects during battles to work.
For now, I'll lurk and wait again for a solution. I'll keep you folks updated.

Also Admin, regarding emulating the game onsite... Whenever I try to play, I need to reinstall the crack again. Also, no sounds. I dunno why, I'm a newbie at dosBox. Imma try the downloaded copy. Kudos for hosting this game for free and trying~ Have good day~

I used to play this game at my cousins house. The clunky controls ensured I never saw any hentai. When I eventually found out that this was a porn game it certainly shined a light on my cousin.
This was back before anime was really popular and all we had was Dragonball and Sailor Moon.

I uploaded an other version. Launch "M&LCRACK.COM" to crack the game.
In the game, when you have to enter a 5-digit passcode, hit enter, it should work.
If not, try to crack again or close the game and launch it again, sometimes it failed.

I also had this game. The biggest problem with the downloaded copy is the fact that the game requires a code wheel. PS if you can actually get this downloadable copy to work borrow the max amount from the loan shark buy what you want then pay him back. He will still accept your payment even if you have $0

I remember having this game and being disappointed that all I could manage to get was the lingerie shots. I thought I had a defective copy or a 'PG-13' version. Ah, the trials and tribulations of a lonely teenager.
The game itself was a mediocre fighter with poor controls and a stupidly hard AI. The only way I could win any matches was to lame it out with one mech's spin attack.
One thing I thought was particularly neat was the hidden goodies in the bar. By clicking around you could find a little extra cash, some spare parts and even a whole mech. It wasn't great, but it could be sold for a decent starting cash boost.
