Nitemare-3D is a video game published in 1994 on DOS by Accurate Research, Inc.. It's an action game, set in a horror, shooter and haunted house themes, and was also released on Windows 3.x.

Played it growing up. Not a bad game if you like Wolfenstein-esque early 3D FPS'.. (a la Blake Stone, Ken's Labyrinth, etc.. that have the square room / hallway layouts like Wolfenstein). I think the goal is to save your wife. I think the main character is Hugo from Hugo's House of Horrors. Overall, I remember liking the game. Some games you play and go "blech" and quickly move on. But, I remember playing this pretty constantly trying to get further and further. Then again, 3D-style games were cutting edge at that time, so being able to play something like this was mind-blowing compared to playing yet another side-scroller, platformer or shmup.
