It's not the same without John Rhys-Davies doing the voice-over.

For the person who wants to play in Vista - run it in DosBox. Most of these old games work in that.

I have such a romantic attachment to the QFG anthology. One of the deepest of anything in my life haha that sounds sad but I truely do love this series I wish I could meet the creators.

This was my favorite from the QFG series. I always took way too many days to get through each game but the series allowed for that. You could take as long as you wanted to develop your skills before moving on. And the non-linear nature of the adventure game was fairly new at the time. It also took into account the need for sleep and eating, which many games ignore, making for a more realistic experience.
Although it's only about 13MB, it feels like a much bigger game. Maybe game developers today could take a lesson.

Hi guys! My wife and I used to enjoy this game some 20 years ago. U imagine how excited we were when we finally refound it. Unfortunately we can not install it (window wista)! Pls. HELP!

I am pleased to announce that my new album, Quest for Glory:Shadows of Darkness, has been released and is available for sale today! The album features 42 all new arrangements of some of the most iconic music of my career. In addition, all of the original music from the game is included for 100 total tracks! Please, share this and help me get the word out. I poured my blood sweat and tears into this and held nothing back. It's now up to my friends and family to help me share it with the world!

I played all of the kings quest, space quest and police quest games back in the 80's. Quest for Glory, or Hero's Quest, was the best games of the day. I have replayed them many times since and still love the humour.

A must play if you've never played it.

I had the same problem getting through the swamp. If I remember right, you had to turn your speed up to max and turn off the sound and run through that one area. That let me finish the game.

THIS GAME IS FUN

Try it.

If you like it, go back and play one through four. You can keep your character and port them and their skills from game to game. Revolutionary at the time.

Play them. Trust me.

I still love avocado and garlic sandwiches!

THE MEMORIES. This is when Sierra truly knew its stuff... before it got shut down, damn it all.

Aah, the rusalka.. lol.. i remember i wanted to rescue her, so bad at the age of 10.. she was so pretty! ^^ I like the dark and gloomy style of the qfg4. Really exciting with all the vampires, ghosts etc.

Fey 2013-03-11 1 point DOS version

This is probably one of the best games I've ever played. Never could find any of the other quest for glory games. Always dreamed of finding them all together in a bundle or something. Anyway, it always reminded me of king's quest games only tons more fun. Try it!

i like all the quest for gloy games minus 5 that 1 suckd

justsomeguy 2011-11-08 1 point DOS version

This game and the remade QFG 1 both are very charming games that you will get lost in. The game plays much like the kings quest point and click adventure games but with skill building and combat typical of an RPG. How is it that I am the first comment?
