If you haven't play Revenge of Defender (also known as StarRay, Star Moon) already, go ahead and download it now! Published in 1989 by Epyx, Inc., Revenge of Defender (also known as StarRay, Star Moon) features action in a sci-fi / futuristic, shooter genre.
Starray is a fun side-scrolling shooter developed by Logotron and published by Epyx in the US as Revenge of Defender (probably to increase brand awareness by associating the game with Atari classic Defender. Despite the lofty name, though, the game isn't quite as much fun as Atari classic, perhaps due to sparse enemies and repetitive levels that resemble one another after a while. Still, for anyone looking for a quick shooter fix, Revenge of Defender just might do the job-don't expect it to be anything like the Atari classic, though.
