The Treehouse - Play Online
DOS - 1991
For small DOS games like The Treehouse, you can play online immediately with your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer...). This feature is still experimental, the game may not work properly. Warning: game save should work, but you should try it early! Also, be careful to select the right game executable in the list below.
Emulator configuration
You have to choose the right game executable, then press PLAY.
To exit fullscreen mode, press escape. Playing experience can be poor due to your browser or your computer. Download The Treehouse and launch it with DOSBox to have the best playing experience!
If the game is too fast or too slow, try hitting CTRL-F11 (slower) and CTRL-F12 (faster).

If you go to setup and set it to Sound Blaster THEN go to the 2nd on the list you'll get the far superior sound!

This is the awful non sound blaster edition. Download Dos Box Daum and download this then uise that GUI to launch with MUCH better sound!

Thanks so much for this site. What a wonderful resource! It allows some of my younger kids to explore the games that my older ones did way back when - without me having to setup a ton of dosbox instances!

As per the comment above that is why PC software especially useful/education software is no longer made thus making us stuck with often poor indie or the same FPS games.
It was way easier to get software in the Win 9X days at almost any store but they didn't sell and the switch to Vista was the straw that broke the camels back
This generation only knows about game consoles and touch screens. Game consoles will even vanish for the tablet/phone which is all Win 10 is useful for.

I LOVED this game as a child!! I spent hours upon hours playing it. I just introduced this game to my four year old daughter tonight, and she loved it as well! I'm glad I could share this game with her! Side note: All she knows is touch screens. She kept getting confused and touching the computer screen to select things. I had to remind her to use the mouse.
