The Macintosh is too complicated, but windows 3.1 works for the game really well though. You tube.com has a video on how to do it though. it helps you to put windows 3.1 in dosbox, everything to play some great windows 3.1 or dos videogames. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_FZ3l1PXQc

when i go to open it i get a message that says "You can’t open the application “The Yukon Trail” because the Classic environment is no longer supported."
anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?

DL doesn't work on Windows 8. Wish this game worked online the same as Oregon Trail; this was the one I really loved.
