NP2 is a much nicer emulator, less cumbersome emulator than Anex86.

Why does it say Corpse Party is in English on the website when the game is still in Japanese ?

I have really enjoyed the later games in this series and look forward to playing the original game potentially using MTL

Seen a lot of comments saying this is unplayable- it is playable, however it requires an emulator to do so. Anex86 is a pretty good one, found here; https://emulationrealm.net/downloads/file/1735-anex86 (in English). To run corpse party98 on the Emulator, do the following:
1. download and extract both the Corpse Party98 and the Anex86 files (best to contain them in a file, so they're easy to find)
2. Open up the Anex86 application, you will be presented with four boxes: FDD1, FDD2, HDD1, HDD2. Corpse Party extracts as a HDI file, so use the HDD boxes.
3. To add Corpse Party to the Emulator, go to the HDD1 line and click on the box with "..." in it (it should be next to the long white box). Double click on the Corpse Party file, and it should be added to the Emulator.
4. Press "Start" and enjoy!

Hope this helps!

if you're interested in playing an approximation of this in English, it was transposed to RPG Maker XP and translated by Memories of Fear: http://www.memoriesoffear.com/games_corpsepartyrebuilt/index.html

Looks like a nice RPG horror adventure.

Works fine on Neko Project II, shame it's in japanese though.
