Download the https://github.com/narzoul/DDrawCompat/releases
rename the DDRAW.DLL to GDRAW.DLL
Open an hex editor, open the gangsteres.exe, find the string DDRAW.DLL and change the "D" with a "G", save the exe file, profit

for those who are having problems with the text boxes, just add a root folder where the game was installed, the files dsound.dll and dsound.ini.

I wonder when we will have the ability to dL pc games to platform systems like Xbox 1 and PS4? I spent many nights playing this game smoking cigars and drinking feeling like a 30s mafia boss as a younger man. This game was a gem to play.

tried everything followed every step downloaded all those programs and nothing works..... big waste of time and energy! save yourselves the time and just buy what ever game you want to play
