You know there is a rollback feature on GOG?

just deactivate "always update to newest version" (or something like that) and you can choose which version you ever want (an old DOSBox version preferably, GOG-1 is good).

copy NoMouth.dat (that's the CD) and burn it to a CD-R
OR copy the contents of the image to a directory on your DOS rig and use an old tool like 0cd or fakecd to emulate it.
Modern mounting tools like shcdhd86 don't work, unfortunately.

GoG and Steam are both using ScummVM version. There is no executable to run on my DOS / Win 98se rig. I prefer real hardware over emulators. It was a waste of money for me. Is it possible to add missing needed files for those who purchased the game?

I can not get the sound to work. I am playing the game through Boxer, but there does not seem to be any sound set up for the game.

Nice game. Shame it was made in 1995. With modern grapichs it would be the best.

don't waste your time with this vaporware, it doesn't work in dosbox OR scummVM, it seems to be broken somehow,if anyone finds a working copy elsewhere please let us know.

I watched CinnamonToastKen play this game. I really loved the story of a computer taking over the world, so I wanted to play it for myself just for fun. Thanks for the upload!

Strangely, I like the game better than the novella. If they ever make a movie, which they should've seriously done a decade and half earlier, it ought to revolve around the game.

I don't think this download has a file called midi.ini that is required for the sound to work, because Dosbox could not initialize it and when I went to find it, it was nowhere to be found.
