i have tried installed and playing it on my virtual machine easily without any fix files

@mobius ace - please check the link above, there is a tutorial to play sideline in modern machine. I haven't tried it personally tho

Download icon says English language, but that is wrong - installer and game are in some eastern european language (Polish, I think). Also, the sound setup program doesn't work properly in DOSBOX, so I had to play the game without sound effects.
