Description of Dodge-Ball

In 1981, Cody Snider publishes Dodge-Ball on DOS. This action game is now abandonware and is set in an arcade theme.

A virtually unknown DOS game developed sometime in the 1980s by Cody Snider, the author of Tank Wars. Simple arcade game in which you need to move blinking dot from the left side of the screen to the button on the right, avoiding moving objects. Use Numpad to move

Edited the year to 1981, no date is present in the EXE files, thanks

Release year wrong? 2022-01-04 0 point

MS-DOS 1.0 was released on August 12th in 1981: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MS-DOS#MS-DOS_1.x

Hence it is doubtful that this DOS game would have been made in 1980.

The year 1980 comes presumably from an incorrect interpretation of a timestamp somewhere. Maybe the files of this game had no timestamp recorded on someone's hard disk, in which case it could get the timestamp value cleared to zero on disk, which corresponds to the DOS epoch time at 01-01-1980:
