To exit fullscreen mode, press escape. Playing experience can be poor due to your browser or your computer. Download Icemare and launch it with DOSBox to have the best playing experience!

If the game is too fast or too slow, try hitting CTRL-F11 (slower) and CTRL-F12 (faster).

I see; the 'play in browser' option auto-selected the wrong program to run. In the GAME EXECUTABLE drop-down, select ICEWAR/ICEWAR.EXE and it runs fine.

The 'play in browser' option just seems to display an information screen. Push a key and it exits to DOS, so just type in ICEWAR and press Enter, and you're in to the game.
