Notes:

• The game uses the Cinepak codec for videos. To install it extract cvid32.zip, then right-click on OEMSETUP.INF -> Install, after installation restart your computer
• If the game doesn't start - run it in Compatibility mode with old Windows, like Windows 2000 or Windows XP SP3, and as Administrator. To do that right-click on exe-file or desktop shortcut -> Properties -> Compatibility. Try different compatibility modes if the game doesn't work, sometimes it may work in Windows Vista compatibility mode but not working in Windows XP mode, and counterwise
• DO NOT run the game in a higher resolution than 1024 x 768. Otherwise you won't see some of in-game subtitles and couldn't reach some parts of the level because mouse cursor couldn't go there
• If you don't see the videos in game - switch the game to Windowed mode, press Alt+Enter. There's no way to forcefully run the game in Windowed mode, so you will have to switch to Windowed mode manually every time. However, some videos still may not work even in Windowed mode, there's no fix for that
• Even if your PC meets all the system requirements, the game may run or not run for whatever reason. Although Windows 7 and later Windows OS are not officially supported, the game may launch if the codec is installed
• For owners of Steam version: if the game doesn't run and show only the advert window of RIP Trilogy - you need to install the demo version of RIP Trilogy. Enter steam://install/2560 in your browser and press Enter, Steam client will launch and start downloading RIP Trilogy demo. The game was removed from Steam many years ago, probably due to performance issues and problem with videos, we recommend to check this guide if you have Steam version
