Game works fine. Make savedisk first. Then quit, type "koei" and play it with color. Reduce delay and set sound to "off". Thanks for uploading!

Okay, game works, right up until you need to fight, then there's no possible way to distribute armies onto the field. My first assessment correct, game unplayable.

oops. The numberpad enter key will produce the menu required for the command options. apologies for saying game unplayable, trying some more.
