I got hold of the Amiga manual but the movement controls don't work for My DOS copy in dosbox. Any ideas?

I used to play the arcade version of this back in 1984, I think. I just know there were major changes in my life in 1986 so my memories are split into pre and post '86.

When I first saw it I was blown away. The look (graphics) were cartoon smooth, big and bright. I think I spent a dollar/day on it, that was the limit. I didn't want to stand there pumping quarters into it then walk away feeling like I'd been had. Plus, playing just a little each day prolonged the magic.

This is the first game I ever "won" as in playing until it ended. One day I was doing the usual, getting squeezed by snakes and sucked down by quicksand when I noticed the lights. Going any further could constitute a spoiler so I'll stop now.

How do you play this on a pc if you do not have a joystick? What are the keyboard keys to use?

I played this games a million times and never could get to the end....maybe now that I'm a LITTLE BIT more adept with computers, I might make it, huh?

How came that those 80s and 90s cartoonish videogames never work on my Windows 8? Just downloaded and tried to open GAME.EXE. It says "impossible to run this upp on your pc". Are they too old for Win8?

Loved this game as a kid ... even if it did piss me off at times :) The animation always reminded me of Disney's The sword in the stone

Why does that surprise you so much ;) ? It is quite common for that graphic quality !
