This isn't as good as the version for c64 or Amiga nor Gunship 2000 but I must say for a console flight sim /arcade fight sim it was awesome! I love the Asia 3d stage music and the Mideast 3d and 2d music and the way they do this game up. It reminds me of Infiltrator and Airwolf for NES

Its suprising how the genisis had a dozen 3D flight sims on the system but gunship being the pinnacle "Flight Sim" it was toned down to a measely sidescroller.

if all they did was just port the original C64 Gunship to the genisis I wouldn't mind it, but having this be a shoot em up is just...odd.

Thi is not the same as the one for C64 Atari ETC. This is a different one, its more an arcade version. But its still good. I recommend it. If you liked Gunship and Gunship 2000 for Dos C64, Amiga, Atari ST ETC. You'll like this.
