Update:
After ripping the version from the Archive, I have successfully installed all data disks that are available for download on the Archive using dosbox, there appears to be spaces for Disk 17 and 18, but I don't know if those were ever made available at the time or not as they don't seem to be online, but disk 1-16 can be installed just fine by placing the disk01.img into dosbox's root folder (your C: folder for dosbox) one at a time and using the commands:
imgmount a disk01.img -t floppy
A:
instdd C:\spokerrb\ (or where ever your SPPrev3 game files are located in dosbox with C being the main folder you picked when you mounted C:)

Repeat this for all 16 disks
To make this faster, I added these lines to the end of the conf file autoexec section and set CPU cycles for 30000 to speed up the file processing, then when Data Disk 1 is finished, close dosbox, copy the disk01.img from the Data disk 2 folder and overwrite the Data disk 1 img file in your Dos root, then launch dosbox again and your autoexec code will install disk 2 into the game, repeat this process 14 more times and you are done and have all data disks installed

Once all disks have been installed, you can remove the 3 lines of code from your autoexec section so that Dosbox opens up to your C: drive like normal (if you ever set that up in your autoexec section)

I'm not quite sure if this has been updated to the same version as on Archive.org but I figured out how to download the game from Archive.org, link to the reddit post I found at the bottom of this comment for instructions

After this game has kicked my ass, I have finally figured out how to configure it with dosbox

I am using the version with 3 of the data disks preinstalled

Make sure to use the Setsnd program first, select Soundblaster 16 but dont hit enter, hit C instead and match the config to dosbox's confg

Location 220 for the first choice and IRQ 7 for the second choice, leave extra Value at 0

To launch the game, use the iafix.bat file, launching it any other way and you wont have sound, this drove me crazy trying to figure that part out until I realized it with the online player version of the game

The password issue people are running into with the Data disk included version of the game is because the password has been deleted out of the PSWRD file, either open it with notepad and type Artworx back into it so that Artworx becomes the correct password in the game again, or leave the file blank and just hit enter when it asks for the password

Reddit post for downloading from Archive.org:
https://www.reddit.com/r/DataHoarder/comments/tw8g9r/is_there_a_method_to_download_stream_only_dos/

Note that you want to click the load game button after reloading while on the Network tab to get the zip to appear

For pass, only delete archive with name PSWRD!

Anyone know the password for the three disk version? Tried Artwork and it did not work?

A few things to know about this release:

* This is not Rev B, this is Strip Poker Professional with Laura, Kami, and Greta, the same one available here: https://www.myabandonware.com/game/strip-poker-professional-30n

* As Groucha advised: to get this to work in DOSBox (for Windows for me, and Mac with him) you have to edit the dosbox-0.74-3.conf (file name dependent on the version you're running) located in the c:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Local\DOSBox folder — edit the file in notepad, find the line that says "machine=svga_svg3" and change it to "machine=svga_paradise"

* Once you've done that, you can then actually start the game, only to realise as previously mentioned, it's actually Strip Poker Professional, and then it will act weird like it's not shuffling the cards, but if you type in "artworx" and then press enter it will play (as mentioned by Glitchunterz); however there isn't much point in even trying to mess with this as the version linked in my first post is far and away your better option, particularly since it comes with 35 players as opposed to the 3 in this crap version.

* Also, as Plague mentioned, Rev. B is available to play here: https://archive.org/details/msdos_Strip_Poker_Professional_rev._B_1995 — hopefully someone can figure out a way to get Rev. B uploaded here, as Archive.org's version is actually Rev. B, so we can launch it in our DOSBoxes, and hopefully someone can find the additional Data Disks for Rev. B (if they exist?)

THIS IS NOT REV B. THIS IS A CRAPPIER (lower res textures) VERSION OF plain SPP. THE DATA DISKS ARE NOT FOR REV B. EITHER, THEY ARE CRAPPIER VERSIONS OF THE SPP DATA DISKS.

Actual Rev. B is accessible by streaming at https://archive.org/details/msdos_Strip_Poker_Professional_rev._B_1995
but with no data disks unfortunately.

God led me here. Praise God for beautiful women! I must spread the good word.

I think the password for this game is the same as spiii by artwork, the name of the company

ALEX 2017-01-03 2 points

Take a notice: in the download section of Strip Poker Professional (not rev. B) there's the full version (32 girls, 3 boys). The new pictures are as high-res as in rev. B. 100% official, no hand-made stuff. Have fun and wait the CD version part II to be unlocked.

Finally figured out how to make this work using Boxer on the Mac. Needed to edit the .conf file which is located inside the game file package after you finish importing. Added these lines after the first commented out part:
[dosbox]
machine=svga_paradise

Also, if the mouse cursor disappears after you select your opponents and the game seems to freeze, it means you need to type in the password: artworx

Utter turd.

1) This version isn't even Rev. B
2) You have to fart around with the display settings.
3) You have to fart around with password.

This Download isn't "Rev B", this is the normal Strip Poker Professional. And it works with DOSBox if you set the graphics card to svga_paradise.

Phred 2012-04-25 1 point DOS version

I can't seem to make this game work under DOSBox 0.74. The file I downloaded from this site seems to have extracted correctly, but when I attempt to run it within DOSBox, I get the message "Sorry, your graphics card does not support the required display mode for this program", and the program exits.

I've never had DOSBox fail to support a video mode required by a DOS program before, so I don't know how to work around this. I'm guessing it may be pre-configured for a very specific graphics card that DOSBox does not emulate, and there doesn't seem to be any way to re-configure it. Does anyone out there know how to fix this?
