How to run this game under Win 10/11:
I hope you have the original CD of this game somewhere….otherwise you will have to look for the (free) copy on some abandonware site (for example HERE! )
If You have the content of the CD (zip file), then…
1. Burn the contents of the zip file e.g. using AnyBurn as an iso file.
2. Mount the created iso CD to the X:\ drive using D-tools
3. Start Dos Box and mount virtual drive X:\ as drive D:
4. Create a "Dos_Box_C" folder on the Y:\ drive
5. In Dos Box, mount Y:\ Dos_Box_C as C:\
6. In the dosbox, run setup from D drive(CD)...and install the game Deadline
7. Worked for me under Win 11. Enjoy!

I have the ISO mounted and it still tells me to insert the CD, what do I need to do?

A manual would be nice. I need to know how to open locked doors.

I followed Oldschoolracer's instructions, installs fine but doesn't recognize CD in mounted drive while in dosbox.

In case you're running into trouble setting it up because the game keeps asking for the CD-ROM:

* Download the installer package
* Create an ISO9660 image with an authoring software of your choice
* Mount image, then install and play in DOSBox as usual

This is an excellent counter terrorism game. Think rainbow six 1-3 but on a strategy isometeric level. You can engage in hostage negotiation via a phone with the hostage takers. When thats ongoing or fails, you can reasearch more data and reveal in more detail the terroirsts for more information helpful to your plan to assault the location. You have access to an arsenal of weapons and gear. All sorts of real world pistols, SMG's, shotguns and sniper rifles, gas,gas masks, med kits. Each squad member has special skills and they improve after each mission. There is live video with your superiors. I still have this game on CDROM. I highly recommend it if you can get it to work.
