Pearlite, a lot of the educational games back in the day were tied to books to encourage research. Like Carmen SanDiego required the Foders guide book to get promoted.

I'm enjoying playing this game. It's quirky, unexpected, and has a lot to explore.
When answering questions, I click on the "research" button, and the game tells me to turn to a page and consult whatever is on that page. I don't know if there is such a book I can access inside the game. Did the game come with a manual that I don't know about?
