A legendary amount of disk swapping on the Amiga version, around 50 to get 5 levels in,even though WIN UAE supports multiple drives, the game doesn't,a nice idea and promising graphics are ruined by the static leaden game design, side view can work, but the painfully short levels are over all to quickly,it all holds together for 5 minutes when you realise you can't turn around, only walk backwards,no enemies came from behind which was good, but swiping with your sword or kneeling can kill the bad guys but the combat is not dynamic or really taxing, you can't seem to use your shield either which is a waste of time even having it.i managed to get to the castle around level 5 when a booming voice cries,'Watch out for hidden traps!',which equates to the hapless player while having to jump over 20 rolling barrels battling fearless minions, then you are suddenly falling to your screaming death down a pitch black shaft, through a randomly placed trapdoor so well concealed the David Copperfield would be impressed,a fine game if only in what it looks like, uppers are well done graphics, fancy intros and a nice use of the sampled voices, and a novel replay option so you can relive the whole thing over again and yes,you have to go through another 50 disk swaps to see each level again if you progressed any way into the game,vs. the downers, which are the really really bad 50 odd disk swaps to progress and the leaden pace, short levels and sadistic hidden traps!
