I bought the original Z Ball, then upgraded it to the Gold edition, which is DRM free and requires no registration. My copy works on Win 11 with no issues.
It's an excellent left to right breakout with some unusual mechanics that in my opinion make it quite hard to beat. I've been playing Breakouts since the very first Taito breakout appeared in the 1970's and have accumulated hundreds of breakouts over the years. This particular one is amongst my top 20 favorite breakouts, and despite it's age (i.e. 25 years old) it's graphic looks like it was only recently released.
I'd not played it in years; however, after having to redo my game database due to a hard drive failure where the database was stored (I'd foolishly not done a backup copy on a separate disk in a long time, so of the almost 1000 disks I had recorded in the database {many 25GB Blu Ray disc's included}, most of the information was lost, plus while redoing the database I discovered the older CD's I'd originally backed up data onto, many had become degraded and almost unreadable, so I've been transferring many of the disks to long life Blu Ray disks, I came across the disk where I'd stored a copy of Z-Ball Gold many years ago. Thankfully it was on a newer DVD rather than a CD so was recoverable and installed and worked the first time I booted it up.
If you would like a full official version to add to the downloads, please let me know. I've left a few messages over the last several weeks regarding various arcade games that I have the original executables for and where necessary, the registration codes (mainly Alawar/GameXtacy & over 900 Reflexive games most of the Reflexive I have a reg Generator for as Amazon closed down the registration servers several months after buying out Reflexive Arcade, making it impossible to re register the games I'd bought unless I downloaded one of the generators. As for the Alawar games, I used to βeta test for them, so got a lot of reg codes for the games I tested.
Many of those games I believe are no longer available so are probably abandonware. Just let me know where to send then to. I would prefer sending a hard copy of all the files on disk to you as I don't use cloud based storage; however, if you could give me a link to upload them too (email the link to me if necessary), I'd be happy to share them. :)

Unfortunately does not work on Windows 11; the game constantly and eventually it crashes.
