Windows - 2001
Description of Axis
Axis (aka Jaxis), a really nice action game sold in 2001 for Windows, is available and ready to be played again! Time to play a battlemech, sci-fi / futuristic and shooter video game title.

This is a personal universal package I've compiled aimed towards repairing the multiplayer direct IP functions in old windows pc games.
Extract the contents of this folder in the install directory of the game. This allows TCP/IP to connect via Direct IP in the multiplayer menu.
Hours of fun to be had so grab some friends and have at it!

Have figured out how to make the game connect online again. LAN works like a dream. Will release a repack in the future.

You would need to do direct IP connection for hosting multi player games. A lot of us did after the servers died.

To anyone who can help - I humbly ask for assistance in finding a way to run the multiplayer for this game.
Been trying to set up/join a LAN match via Hamachi with no success outside of a connection timeout. As far as I know, the game installed correctly, since the rest of the game runs smooth as silk, especially the ISO copy. RIP version runs fine in-game, though the menu is at a lower framerate oddly enough. The patcher for 1.04 doesn't seem to recognize that I have the game running or the application to begin with; not sure if that's required at all.
If the game can run via LAN, I'd like to know. If it was entirely server-based like all online-only games, I'll be disheartened but at least relieved of wonder. Thank you to anybody who at least gave this a read.
