Description of Go Simulator
Go Simulator is one of the better PC versions of Go, a classic Japanese boardgame. The goal is simple: capture your opponent's pieces by surrounding them with your pieces. You win if you have more pieces left on the board than your opponent does. Like Chess, however, special conditions in the rules add another layer of depth to this fascinating game. This version features a strong computer opponent and excellent on-line tutorial and tips. Highly recommended.

Greatest abstract board game ever invented by man. Genuinely beautiful if you have the patience to learn. There's more modern free software around though and computers still aren't very good at it. =P
