main thing to get it workn once u install u av to go to the directx that comes with it and install that as it installs some old files required to run game as if u try to run it without doing it game either crashes after first 2 screens or wont launch nce u install the direct x in the folder works perfect

finally got it to work if it crashes after 1st to splash screens go into compatibility options after u apply the crack to the game tick run in compatibility mode tick vista and tick run in 640 screen res
disable fullscreen optimisations n run as administrator works as of 5th feb 2026 just replayed all games in series replayed the 1 n 2 anniversary additions then played simon 3d thru steam just finished 4 now playn this great game loved simon 4 then origins to go

works great as of 2026 just install the crack outta the folder can u upload simon 4 to hear as well as the installer fails n wont install the simon 4 on here wont install says theres a problem with the installer

i bought this game back in 2009, but could no longer play it due to the company going bust band the license issue, finally i can get this to work and play it again
rather strangely , i have the dvd for simon 4 but it simply wont work

Installed the game and copied the nocd. It always crashes after the silverstyle logo before entering the main menu. Any tips?

Cancel out of the license stuff at the end of the install.
Copy the files inside the SKIDROW folder that are on the DVD to your in
your install directory and overwrite. Default install location is:
/Program Files/The Game Company/Simon the Sorcerer 5/
