I have a modern system and get Horrible frame rates and performance with this game. It is unplayable. Strange as Simon 5 works fine and is build on the same python framwork.

Anyone else have this issue and perhaps can offer some suggestions?

You want to replace the game.exe file in the installation folder with the one in the mounted ISO "DVD"'s CRACK folder. The default installation folder on later windows is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Simon the Sorcerer - Chaos happens". You may need to click for admin privileges.

This is probably years late, but the game is unfortunately unplayable. It keeps asking me to insert the disc into the dvd drive. Tried everything I could
