Space Crusade - Play Online
DOS - 1992
For small DOS games like Space Crusade, you can play online immediately with your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer...). This feature is still experimental, the game may not work properly. Warning: game save should work, but you should try it early! Also, be careful to select the right game executable in the list below.
Emulator configuration
You have to choose the right game executable, then press PLAY.
To exit fullscreen mode, press escape. Playing experience can be poor due to your browser or your computer. Download Space Crusade and launch it with DOSBox to have the best playing experience!
If the game is too fast or too slow, try hitting CTRL-F11 (slower) and CTRL-F12 (faster).

Press F10 on its own to turn off the music and just have the sound effects. (The music is loud and gets irritating very quickly)

It took me quite a while to not only play, but to make the outfit I love.
I will list everything of the other peoples tips together:
1) Write the word "Space" --- This will start the game.
2) Ctrl+F10 shifts the controls to the dos box
3) Use "https://thecompany.pl/manual/514_space_crusade-manual.pdf" when you are asked to type a word as a safeguard.
4) In the game itself you have to make sure to properly equip your soldiers. It takes some time to see where to click.

Type "SPACE" (i.e. the word space not the space key) and press return to start game

To play type crusade at the dos prompt, when the copy protection screen comes up just press enter.

Sorry, but the game do not start and if a try some exe, the courser will not move at the beginning of the game.

That space crusade plays on the internet is a smart good idea. Can play without all the desktop hassle anyhow it seems to work only in full screen mode from here. Neat yet.
