How can i save the game?

so i found out how to play without graphic glitches, at least on WIndows 7,
you have to download from Source Forge a sort of emulator called DxWnd, when extracted go to its Export folder and find file named "Dark Angael.dxw", open it with text editor and change install path to where-ever you installed Dark Angael, save the file. Now run DxWnd and do File - Import, and open Dark Angael "config" file you just edited, if done correctly a game's icon will appear in emulator's window list, now right click on DA's icon and click RUN

i remember the demo of this game, it came on a cd with other "New" titles in 1997 along with "Virtua Fighter 2", "Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2", "Claw" and more, i used to spent hours with those demos back in the day. anyway Dark Angsel it's a pretty ok game, not great, but not bad either more a middle of the road side-scroller shooter with mouse aiming, similar gameplay to "Abuse" from 1996. i love the game's dark gothic aesthetic. it's works pefectly fine on my win 10 but it's 32 bit system an old pc from 2009.

for some reason i get broken colors in this game running on Win7
both with patch and without, with compatibility to 9x and without

Gonna play this game. I got it when I was pretty young and it scared the pants off me so I never dared play it. Interesting to look it up and find out it was made by Vicarious Visions!
