Description of EarthSiege 2
Earthsiege 2 is a much-improved sequel to Dynamix/Sierra’s Earthsiege, and marks the company’s third entrant into the giant robots genre (after Battledrome and EarthsiegeSilent Thunder). As in the first game, the plot is quite mundane: a race of intelligent robots have revolted against their human creators and are trying to kill of the human race and rule the world. Yeah, sure... bring on the game, please.
Fortunately, gameplay in Earthsiege 2 is excellent, especially with a joystick, but even with only a keyboard and mouse you can still get the hang of it pretty quickly. Most missions still involve killing enemy robots and destroying their bases, but this time the terrain is much more varied, with hills, snow, lava, and buildings to add to the realism. Another great addition is the Razor, an air-capable HERC with solid flight-sim controls (although it has limited altitude). Like in the first game, players can outfit and customize their HERC units between battles. The action is often fast and furious, and the game has one of the best explosion graphics I’ve ever seen.
Overall, Earthsiege 2 is a solid giant robots game that could easily give MechWarrior 2 a run for its money, with cleaner graphics and more challenging and varied gameplay. Arguably, the lack of official FASA license hurts the game’s sales quite a bit (although the plot and HERC designs are clearly rip-offs). Whatever the reason, the game’s 50-plus missions and strong gameplay will keep fans of Mechwarrior 2 hooked for hours on end. Highly recommended!

Hey everyone, I've had a project for a few years now making new installers for old PC games; EarthSiege II is one of the games I've restored
Come check out Legacy Gamer's Union on Discord for this game and plenty of others that actually work on Windows 10/11

If you are having issues, just download the version from the CollectionChamber website. It comes with DOSBOX with win95 already installed, everything ready to play.

Used SierraInstaller with 1.13 ISO, mp3 conversion.
It's keep asking me for a cd, even though it's supposed to be cd-less.
What the hell? Solution anyone?

You can use the rip version provided here as an installer cdrom inside a virtual machine. works and it's lighter and faster to download from here.
I couldn't run the rip version of the game on win 7 got the _INMM.dll. error and another KERNEL32.dll error, fortunately I have a virtual windows 95 machine on the Pcem emulator, what I did was to extract the rip version to a folder then created a iso image of that folder using WinCDEmu, after that I launched my pcem win95 virtual machine and load the iso image I made there as a cdrom and used it to install the game, it runs fine, to play I just load that iso as cd rom and when I do that the play dialog pops up, and then well... just play it.

@James
I am using Windows 7. I did not work because I check use cd music instead of downloading the mp3 while installing .
Better explained with this link : https://sourceforge.net/p/dxwnd/discussion/general/thread/70368c4293/?limit=25
It seems to work with virtual computer machine with Windows 95 or 98.
It doesn't work even with the mp3 , same trouble.
The "ISO 465 mo " is not recognised within Daemon Tools

Installed with www.sierrahelp.com/Patches-Updates/NewSierraInstallers.html.
I can not start a game : CTD with DBSIM.exe , the error is a matter with "missing" _INMM.dll. The dll is for an obsolete sound engine.
I google the error , but I don't understand the answer ( pretty technical).
Any help ?

the iso seems to be corrupted, not working for me (not WinEmu, not VirtualCloneDrive, not DaemonTools, ...) go and download it from the tribesuniverse website.

I may be late to the party Need2Nick, but for you and anyone having problems installing this game, try downloading the installer from: www.sierrahelp.com/Patches-Updates/NewSierraInstallers.html
Then go for letter M and look for: Metaltech: Earthsiege II 32-bit Installer - Works on 64-bit Windows. Install the game from it.
The version here works fine, but it can also be downloaded for free from: www.tribesuniverse.com
