Description of Hunchback

Here is the video game “Hunchback”! Released in 1984 on Commodore 64, it's still available and playable with some tinkering. It's an action game, set in an arcade, fantasy and platform themes and it was released on Amstrad CPC, Arcade, BBC Micro, Dragon 32/64, Electron, MSX, VIC-20 and ZX Spectrum as well.

The DOS version is not related to the other versions here, which are all by Ocean. They should really have their own entry.

In the readme file, the author places the game and its source code in the public domain. He also says he based it on an old (un-named) game on the BBC Micro, though it's clearly the Ocean version of that game.

Fun game if a bit ordinary in the gameplay department. It is quite challenging though in the later levels.
