Star Command Deluxe is an excellent classic real-time 2D space strategy that was manufactured in 1998 by Metropolis Digital, Inc. The games were distributed by GT Interactive. This game with the attribute "Deluxe" is an improved version of the original game "Star Command: Revolution".

Unlike the original first version of "Revolution", which was intended only for PCs with the MS-DOS operating system, the "Deluxe" version allowed the game to run in addition to MS-DOS but also in the Windows 95/98 operating system. Thanks to the integrated DOSBox emulator, it is still fully playable in Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 and higher.

Notes on the Setup version:

• You start the game installation with the "StarCommand-Deluxe-Setup.exe" file.
• The installation also includes a 240 MB original CD image with the original game, as soon as the installer starts extracting this image to disk, it looks as if the installation FROZEN. This is not true, be patient, do not interfere with the work of the computer at all (!) And wait (even 5 minutes on slower machines) - you will see that the game will be installed.
• If you need to slow down the game, use the CTRL + F11 key combination; if you need to speed up the game, use the CTRL + F12 keys.
