I liked this game so much that in the mid 2000's I found a german copy sold on ebay and got te box verion on 2 cd roms and used the english fixes. Its a very good open world rpg which works I think on the soldiers of anarchy engine. Much like mad max meets twilight 2000. Highly recommdend this game.

The game works on Windows 10 just fine, but I'm getting (0xc0000142) on Windows 11.

Guys, to the english translation to work do this:

1) Copy the contents of ''English Translation Patch'' into the game's ''mods'' folder;

2) When you open the game, go to ''Editor'' and then click on ''File'' and select ''Back to the Start Menu'';

3) There you go! The translation will be enabled and the game will be on english (texts only).

Note: If the game gives an error, just open it as an Administrator and perform the same procedure and there will be no problems.

Note 2: It may be necessary do this procedure everytime when you open the game.

To those whose still looking for the english patch of this game, it is not a patch to overwrite some files. It is a mod. To do it, download the english translation patch then, open the folder where you install the game. Look for the "mods" folder then, open the translation patch, copy and paste the "scripts" and "zones" in the "mods". And the game is translated into english. I hope this help you and enjoy gaming!

I don't get it , the instructions says to unpack the translations patches in the install directory to override the files,but there are no folders like the ones in the translation patches in the game's folder.

A little late to the party but @ JerryLei I got the same error as you. I opened up a command prompt and ran setup from there and it worked for me using wine 1.6.2

Anyone can help me ? I do as you all said,loaded ISO ,copied both CD1 and CD2 to same folder and installed,and when the installation about to end ,an error showed up with german I didnt know what's it about.And I cannt patch this game either.

@HEATCLIFF Copy the content of CD1 and CD2 to same folder. Dismount the ISOs. Run setup .exe in the folder and when it asks insert a CD,just click OK. I will install and the error wont show up.

I've had issues playing the game because i keep getting errors that imply that files are missing. I'm not sure if its because i've had bad luck with downloading it or if the ISO/BINs themselves are already corrupt. I couldnt even uninstall it because the files for that are missing too. Its a bit of a shame since the gameplay looks extremely promising. Here's to hoping that deep silver re-releases this game on steam or GoG in working condition so i can finally play the game. It looks like something i can loose lots of hours having fun playing.

Installer seems to have a divide by 0 error or something (that's what I can figure through the german). I'm not sure the game will run on windows 10 regardless.
