Update. Found the door code on a walkthrough. It states code is same for every game - it worked for me. Walkthrough by Djibrielv is on Gamefaqs website. It has the WILL and a TOURIST BROCHURE typed out. At bottom of WILL is door code.

Where is the code for the front door?
Cannot find in manual and readme files. Also can't find the sealed letter mentioned by BLODDHAWKONE. But I assumed if letter was needed it would be included in the download as .txt or PDF or picture file or similar. Am I missing the obvious?

Trying to run this game through winevdm, but it says that it needs the CD mounted to be played.

To run this you will need to use regular Dosbox and Win3DOSBox to drag and drop the 'windows' batch file into Dosbox. (If using a physical cd rom you would 'edit' by right clicking the 'windows' batch file and in-between the very last two * line, insert by typing without qoutation, "Mount G E:\ -t cdrom" with G being the assigned drive to 'mount' the burned disc iso and the E for whichever drive the CD is in.)

Well, Anon, a good bit of the story for this game is introduced through some supplementary materials that came with the physical release (namely the game's manual and a sealed letter that you had to open in order to get a code that you would use to solve the game's first puzzle). To keep a long story short: your eccentric, world-hopping, music-obsessed uncle passes away and leaves to you all of his worldly possessions, which consists of an old hotel and all of its contents. However, to fully claim the hotel you need to kick out two of its more villainous residents; a pair of troublemakers known as the Toxic Twins. To do this you must solve puzzles (usually music themed), enlist the assistance of several of the hotel's denizens, and rebuild a massive machine.
The game is more well known for it's strange visuals, all star cast of voice actors, and music by Aerosmith.

My mum played this back when it came out. I've been trying to find a copy for years!
