BloodNet
DOS - 1993
Also released on: Amiga
Description of BloodNet
After Microplay ceased operation, their creative talents were assembled into MicroProse the parent company.
From the team that designed Challenge of the Five Realms comes this interesting horror/futuristic RPG/adventure based on the same engine. As cyberpunk-turned-vampire Ransom Stark, embark on a quest to become human again before becoming a vampire forever. The futuristic settings and plot are excellent, with many good (if VERY long-winded) dialogues and interesting weapons and puzzles. The blend of cyberspace and real world is well executed, although difficult combat and scarcity of weapons are a nuisance.

A classic.
The secret to victory though is to ignore all the fancy weapons you find and just use the dirt cheap sawed off shotguns for everyone. Seriously, they're the best weapon in the game for some reason.

I loved this game, even replayed it a few years ago. Pretty crap game play, but it just had a great atmosphere.
