Successfully did a complete play-through using the "in your browser" option. Save/restore game abilities worked fine. Great old game, brought back memories.

This is the 1990 SCI remake of Kings Quest 1. It has the beautiful updated graphics and some of the puzzles are modified to be a little bit easier than the original (like rumpels password). For those unfamiliar with Sierras game engines:

"SCI is the game engine created by Jeff Stephenson for Sierra On-Line, which was used between the years of 1989 to 1997. It superseded Sierra's earlier AGI engine." (SCI Wiki, 2016?)

This version is true abandonware, unfortunately. Floating in the limbo between copyrighted and unavailable. The purchasable version is the original, not the 1991 remake. There is currently no legal way to obtain this game. Ⓐ

Had to fix the profile, directory, and game names -- it's King's Quest 1, but was identified as "Larry 2" for some stupid reason.
