I loved this game. It was also released on the Mac. You could even get to the code - it was written in Microsoft Quickbasic on the Mac. Although I must say the code was the worst - most convoluted spaghetti code I've ever seen by far.

I loved this game. I got the baseball encyclopedia and entered the stats to make teams from past years as well as all-time teams from different clubs. Of course, all-star type teams need few pinch-hitters or relief pitchers, so the regular teams were more fun.

This was absolutely the best baseball game ever. My friends and I drafted new teams often and played 162 game seasons for years. I only wish I could find this game for an iPad now. If anyone knows of one, please let me know!

Here are the commands I remember from my C64
Enter = Pitch To
PA - Pitch Around
VM - visit Mound
CP - change pitcher
DP-double play depth
HR- Hit and Run
ST - straight steal
BT- or BU is bunt
PH - pinch hitter
PR - Pinch Runner
IN- I think is infield in
Can't remember normal depth infield

If anyone has a guide on commands for this game please provide them. I do know that BP gets you to the bullpen but I wonder if there was anything else especially strategic that I could use when pitching or hitting. Are there pitch choices? Are there defensive alignments?

I loved playing this game on my Commodore 64. As a child I was infatuated with box scores and statistics and would print out the box scores from the games I played on my dot matrix printer and pour over them. It also exposed me to the history of baseball, I loved this game.
