I bought DN3D when it was first released and got 1 and 2 with it. I absolutely LOVE the side scrollers. They RAWK!!!

Sadly, every Duke Nukem game besides 3D is now considered abandonware. So it's pretty much safe to put these downloads back up as I'm sure Gearbox won't be doing anything with these older titles unless they get off their asses and give a shit for a couple of minutes and re-release these.
If anyone is lucky to get the big box copy of DN3D, you can get both DN1 and DN2 bundled in it. That's the only way I own the two legitimately right now.

I purchased Duke Nukem 1 & 2 from the official site. The problem is, now that they've taken it off their store my download links no longer work to get the game I paid for. After a year with no updates from 3Drealms, I'd say it falls back into the Abandoned category as there's no place to get the files from the official source. Thankfully, I have D2 saved on a drive, but D1 is lost.

I think this game should be republished here as it's no longer available for sale. It's abandonware, it doesn't have a GOG or Steam page that still exists and on 3D Realms' website it's always listed as unavailable and 3DR don't even own the rights to Duke Nukem/Nukum anymore. It's gearbox, and russia will change presidents and yandere simulator will be finished before they'll do anything with the franchise.

Dang, the original two were just free a couple days ago. Hopefully 3D Realms gets their catalogue together soon. I should've installed when I had the chance lol

This page says this is available from the 3DRealms site, but it's listed as unavailable.

My first computer game on my first computer... a 286sx (no math co-processor) with 40m hard drive, 64k ram, 3.5 AND 5.25 floppy drives. But with a blazing fast 1200 baud modem I could FLY on BBS (there WAS no "dial-up internet" at that time). Between Duke, Captain Keen, and Hero's Quest: So You Want to Be a Hero (renamed Quest For Glory), my wife didn't even see me for 3 years.

I played the shareware version(Episode 1) when it came out. I remember how pissed I was when the boss flew away and told me to catch him in the next episode. well, that's what you get for trying to save 30 bucks. I guess I'll just have to download this to finally get him.
