Having played this up to level 38 at the time of writing this,i have a few things i'd like to say about it.

Where to start?

The good..

1 Looks good.
2 Fun characters
3 Music is good.
4 Early levels are not too hard.

The Bad
1 Too many levels 45 is TOO MANY!
2 One kill per shoot that is TIMED! (eg: recharge time is annoying)
3 Too many 2 shot to kill monsters in later levels.
4 Filler, after lever 15 it repeats earlier levels with filler and gimmicks.
5 Dirty tricks, one way gates and floor arrows that push you into an area that can kill you too easily without any heads up.
6 Blue Pacman like ghosts that need 2 kills and charge at you randomly appear in almost all of the later levels.
7 It gets way too hard as if it's compensating for it just being a maze game that is going on too long after level 25.
8 No in game save only level by level as you progress.(this is a red line)
9 You have to clear the level before you actually go after the gems,(takes a long time).
10 See above as dying means you have to start again.
11 An inescapable feeling that they're throwing everything at you which makes the game feel like an effort to complete,Level 29 and 38 come to mind!
12 The later levels mix almost all of the monsters together with traps, floor arrows and cannons, meaning you have to get it right, this can get really tiring.

Seeing as they repeat earlier levels and just add faster more resilient monsters,it's not fun and very unfair, the game designers rely too heavily on the novelty of the game mechanics which work fine at first, but as you progress they severely limit your ability to cope with the ever rising difficulty levels they employ.

It's too hard, too long, too unfair, too tedious, great for 10 levels,15 is hard and 25 is a grind,if they cut 10 levels of filler out and left the rest 35 would be just right.
3/10.
