This game doesn't work out of the box in Windows 7/8/10, and even on Windows XP it boots up in a Demo mode. it seems that back in 2001, the game was only distributed as a demo, with the game's full features locked away behind registering your copy of the game with a now-deleted website. The users in this forum thread found fixes for both issues though, providing a patched .exe (Jbs2.merged.exe) which works in Windows 10 and has the full game unlocked. https://sourceforge.net/p/dxwnd/discussion/general/thread/ec70cab868/#
