How to play Lost Secret of the Rainforest
DOSGamer says :At some point the game has a "somewhat" but "not quite" copy protection system. There is a point where the player needs to make a facemask. The problem is random among 20 versions of the facemask, but could be solved by "brute force" (i.e.. keep clicking on the screen until something works). However a directory in the game directory has all the alternative solutions.

Besides Monkey Island, this game and its predecessor, Search for Cetus, were the best games of my childhood. The screenshots are hitting me heard with endearing nostalgia. Can't wait to play this with my kids!

An absolute gem. Whoever came up with the concepts and background for this game was well before the sustainability era of today. A game that inspired a young environmental scientist. Couple it with Captain Planet and you've got many future generations of environmentally conscious stewards. 5/5 stars!

I loved this game as a kid. Part of that extra eco-conscious generation that grew up with drought, the loss of the rainforest, and the hole in the ozone hanging over our heads at all times. The graphics are beautiful, the game play is fun, you can't die or do anything that will make you have to restart (no dead ends). It's just a gem.

This was my absolute all time favourite game when I was young. This is Ecoquest 2: Lost Secrets of the Rainforest which succeeded Ecoquest: The Search for Cetus - an equally mesmerising game with just as much emotion and impact as its predecessor. I never managed 1000/1000 though I will be giving it a red hot go now!
