Description of Mars Saga

An update of Commodore 64 classic Mars Saga, this is a nice sci-fi RPG set on the moon Titan.

Control up to 6 characters from various futuristic backgrounds to investigate strange happenings in the mines. Interesting skills and plot make up for the boring and repetitive combats.

The original name was Mars Saga. I know this because i used to play D&D with some of the developers when it was being developed.

Great game! Most immersive game experience of my life together with Elite. Wish I could go back and rediscover this one.

It was called Mars Saga for C64 but when I look for the DOS version it was called Mine of Titan. Mines of Titan is definitely harder if you level up too quick. Some enemies are different and hit harder than Mars

I definitely remember it as Mars Saga. I remember buying it for my C64 from B Dalton, or maybe the Software Etc. had opened by then, in the the mall many moons ago.

This is Mines of Titan, based mostly on Mars Saga. Mines of Titan was a remake for PC and Apple computers, updated graphics and a few added quests added. Both games are great, but I would imagine its hard to get into them without being attached tot he game from back in the day to begin with.

Doesn't work in any of the resolutions in online mode.

This game is called Mines of Titan, not Mars Saga - unless this game was originally called Mars Saga?
