Sadly, still the same issue. Using the LGU Repack and Patch 1.1, still faced with no CD issue. Unless I find my old disk, I think this nostalgia train will go unresolved. :(

Fix for CD Issue LGU Repack (im on win11):
Get the Patch 1.1 use the exe within to replace the one in the risk folder.
Open ps1 file in classic collection folder with notepad
Open an elevated powershell in risk classic collect, execute the lines in the ps1 one by one, until line 13 is executed (get-cimInstance) (Can ignore line 1 and 10)
then open the risk exe

As others have mentioned, LGU Re-Pack "+ no-CD fix" is not working. After installation, the user is still prompted to insert the CD.

I am finding that the 2nd file, the play disc, is corrupted. This is happening irrespective of which tool I use to open/mount it. Is there a working update?

thanks for this, below, it totally worked for me, and brought this game back to life for me after 25 years, because the disk definitely doesn't work on 64 bit.

I tried to get this working under Crossover on a Mac running High Sierra and I keep getting an error when I try to install it.
General error whilst copying files. Please check your target location and try again.

How do you install this? It says it's not compatible with my Windows version (I have Windows 7 x64) and no compatibility mode works.
