The ZX Spectrum version is missing from here,it's easily the best 8 bit version,what it lacks in colour,yellow and black,it makes up for with very loyal sprites that are much closer to the 16 Amiga version.

There are no backgrounds but on the Amstrad and C64 versions it has scenery and much more colour,but those are distracting and a lot of the enemies can be hard to see,the C64 version is guilty of this,the enemies are the same colour as the background making it easy to die out of just not seeing something just being in your way,that and the jumping appears be a low and a high system,so that makes navigating sections more of a guessing game than needs to be.

Of the 8 bit ports the ZX spectrum version is much easier to see whats going on,it's more faithful to the acrade and is way better than either Amstrad or the re imagined C64 port.

The Amiga version is a best version all round with full scenery,sounds and game play controls.

Loved this game on the C64, but boy did it provide a challenge. If I remember, it was quite a large game too. Bit of a classic back in the day, a lot better than other platformers such as Rainbow Islands.
