This was only an expansion to the original game, so you can't expect it to be a full game. Also, as Missouri pointed out almost four years ago, this is lilely to disappear from abandonware soon.

I've been posting the following on some of the games that are likely candidates for GOG acquisition:

Just to make everyone aware, GOG are trying to get this game and other games removed from abandonware sites so that they can again profit from their sales.

At this time they are running a campaign to get this game and others removed by asking the GOG community to vote.

I personally strongly disagree with this; partly because I've already purchased this and other games previously and don't see why I should have to pay again. Also, their prices have slowly, over time risen, some of which, for games that are now 20 years old they are asking up to £20 for them.

In these times of austerity, it's another blow for those who can't afford to pay much for these game, and is one of the reasons I love Abandonware sites.

The following is a list of games I know they are actively trying to get their community to vote to add them to the GOG library, so, they may very well disappear from the free section:

I'll agree with the commenter saying how weak this is.
Very short- 3 missions each
Design is bad
Just couple new monsters and one human weapon - dual pistols
Human campaign is worst , you have npc allies and game spawns infinite enemies to kill them. Rare pickups. Enemies spawn behind you.
Bad alien design also as you have to dodge predators as a facehugger. Later levels are very confusing to navigate.
Predator campaign is ok-ish but not great.
It misses the mark of AvP2 in both story and gameplay.

Rating 5/5; works on Windows 10.

The expansion has a worse and shorter story than the base game, but still satisfactory. The gameplay changes are minimal, so is just more AvP2. Good enough to me.

Played this game. And to be honest, AvP2 Primal Hunt is underrated because, everyone were saying how bad it is, but I played it and I enjoyed it. Sure, it is hard and there is some difficulty spikes, but it is still a cool game.

I agree with MISSOURI. I buy games for the current generation. For the old games, we don't have to become crazy for asking why it's not for sale. Unless it's a properly remastered version and not a lazy job with just higher resolutions.
